Across the board, sales dipped for the popular Lincoln Cent products, compared to last week's US Mint sales figures. Slower sales at the end of the month, however, is not that unusual for this time of year.
The Lincoln Bicentennial Cent Proof Set didn't do too shabby. It advanced another 6,702, bringing the total sold for its first 32 days to 127,659.
Mint sales are expected to pick back up in October with the release of two new products. The 36-coin 2009 US Mint Uncirculated Set launches tomorrow at noon ET, and it will include the four new Lincoln Cents. On top of that, the US Mint has scheduled the Lincoln Coin and Chronicles Set release for October 15.
