At the moment, it appears that 2009 Lincoln Penny products are being overshadowed by the skyrocketing attention to gold prices and gold coins.
The latest round of US Mint sales figures shows that all Lincoln coins moved slower, with the exception of the US Mint's Uncirculated Set which blasted forward. It jumped by 28,613, making it the best selling week for the set in November. Sales also topped the 600,000 milestone.
The new "Presidency" Two-Roll Set only tacked on 9,268 this round. Numbers were down substantially from last week's 21,109. The "Professional Life" Two-Roll set still has some life, adding 2,803.
