Of the four available US Mint products that include 2009 Lincoln Cents, the 18-coin clad 2009 US Mint Proof Set provided the most noticeable change within the group. It gained 40,511 over the prior 27,913, making the total purchased at 1,062,519.
The latest sales tallies for the Lincoln Cent Proof Set is 112,842, for an increase of 11,084. The Professional Life two roll set added 9,643, to bring its total to 214,115. Demand was down for both. Last week the two had respective gains of 35,408 and 13,108.
In upcoming US Mint offerings to watch out for, the next round of excitement for the Lincoln pennies will be the 2009 Mint Uncirculated Coin Set® which will go on sale Oct. 1, and the special Lincoln Coin & Chronicles Set that is limited to only 50,000. The US Mint has the chronicles set schedule for October, but without an exact date.
